How does TB-500 work?
In vitro, TB-500 is characterized by actin binding through its LKKTET motif (residues 17-23) — it sequesters G-actin monomers in solution — which is the assay readout most often cited for it. It is highly water-soluble in assay media and has no disulfide bonds.
